One of my favorite artists is named Liana Hee. Her art is really sweet and adorable and her painting skills are to die for. Last Friday she had her first solo art show at Nickelodeon Animation Studio and I got the chance to check it out!

The space was not so much gallery as it was a hallway BUT the art was amazing as usual. Most of her pieces were sold by the time I got there which was maaaaaaybe 10 mins after the show opened! But with the wedding coming up, I couldn’t justify spending $300 on a painting, no matter how cute it would have looked in my studio. One day…

At least I was able to take photos of some of my favorite pieces.

The lilac mermaid was one of my favorite pieces and of course it sold. I really want to dye my hair like this little mermie. Mayhaps after the wedding.

Let’s not forget that the art show was at Nickelodeon Studio Burbank! That was kind of a big deal because I grew up watching cartoons from this studio so it was nice to finally get to go inside its magical gates.
